About us

Part of the Dandenong Community since 1952

Langton Medical Centre is a facility at which a number of healthcare providers operate from. Most providers are GPs but there are also allied healthcare providers and a St Vincent’s Pathology collection centre. As each provider is independent, their operating hours and fees all vary as do their special interests. Please speak to the reception staff for more information.

The practice was originally established by Dr Raoul Tunbridge in the 1950’s, and moved to a purpose built clinic in 1969, at 153 Foster Street Dandenong (cnr Langhorne St), where there has been a medical practice, or quasi-medical practice since the 1870s. We moved to our current location at 37 Langhorne Street Dandenong in 2001.

Other clinical services (radiology, other physiotherapists, community health services etc) are all nearby, and there is a close relationship with Dandenong Hospital and the rest of the Southern Health Care Network, along with links to The Valley Private Hospital.
